I would like to express my great appreciation for a job well done on the previous ICT coaching you carried out.

I have heard you say out your name, followed by the words "a man who is so much better than a manual". Quite frankly, the words meant nothing more than just a mere catch phrase to me, until I had an opportunity sit down with you for a one to one.

Having relied on web based applications to do most of my work I paid less attention to what the offline applications such as PowerPoint and excel can do to increase efficiency in my business. You elaborated and demonstrated various features of Microsoft applications such as the ones contained in PowerPoint which can make all the difference in preparing an effective presentation.

After the short time Ispent with you I left with skills I would have never gained through reading a manual. Furthermore you designed a simple invoicing template which made my work a whole lot easier and enabled me to work more efficiently.

I will not hesitate to recommend any business with a computer to book a consultation with you and discover ways of utilising their existing systems and applications better.

The man is certainly better than the manual!

As part of Polo Interiors contractual arrangements with some of our clients we have to produce Operations and Maintenance Manuals detailing the materials and plant and equipment we use to complete the interiors we work on. This enables the client to easily carry out future maintenance work having full knowledge of the materials and equipment initially used.

We are increasingly being asked to provide this in an electronic format.

I asked Peter if he could help out in producing this for a particular project we completed recently. He was only too happy to help.

I gave him the technical data for the project. From that he produced a most impressive CD. It split the information up into categories to give the reader an easier, quicker, and more direct route to the information required. Not only that, the CD started with my Company logo and details and indeed this was burnt onto the face of the CD. Overall most impressive and professional looking which I am sure will make us stand out from the crowd, as many CDs I have seen produced for the same purpose have the title handwritten on the face of the CD which, in many cases, is barely legible.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Peter and his services to others who, I am sure, will receive the same, thoroughly professional, service which was given to myself.

Running a graphic design company can be very demanding on time and resources, so any improvement in processing jobs and monitoring their status is a key for us. After discussing this area with my staff we decided it was time to do away with our dry wipe boards and drag our work in progress system into the 21st Century.

The obvious question was how do we achieve this goal. We already had an existing database but had limited experience in developing it further.

After having a chat with you it seemed there was a simple and cost effective way to edit the existing database and create a filter which would show only the work in progress, but still allow access to the main database and update it.

We arranged for you to visit us at our office in Ilkeston and discussed how we wanted the database to operate. After the database was completed you ran through its operation and integrated it into our network so that it now runs very smoothly.

Without your knowledge and experience we would have found this task very difficult to achieve ourselves. Your positive attitude and ability to work with others is a valuable skill and I would not hesitate in recommending you to anyone who needs your help and advice.

The man is certainly "better" than the manual.
